LITERATURE REVIEW: FOREST CONSERVATION BY LOCAL COMMUNITIES INTEGRATED LOCAL WISDOM

Abstrak

As a society that lives side by side with nature, it is our shared responsibility to protect and preserve nature through good management. So that one of the ways to preserve the forest is to make the forest a customary forest. The purpose of this research is to analyze the forms of local wisdom and its benefits for conservation. The method in this research is SLR (Systematic Literature Review) whose stages start from analyzing, reviewing and drawing conclusions that are relevant to the research topic. The article sources used were 25 articles in national journals. Based on this research, there are various kinds of local wisdom that are carried out by the community in order to protect the environment around them, the prohibitions and taboos that they believe in and are sacred indirectly become forest conservation activities. So that the next generation can feel the natural wealth that exists at this time.
